Recording of a building construction site with high winds; contains equipment drones, backup beeps, some backhoe noises, and occasional high wind with whistling. Recorded on an amazon basics usb condenser mic in stereo mode, and normalized to max volume before upload. This was originally me trying to record the wind sound, but there's really too much construction noise, so let's not waste it! :).

A short soundscape built from the following public domain freesounds. Originally put together for an audio drama for misfit's audio to replicate the sounds of construction taking place beneath ground level, hence the reverb. There is also a version in the same pack without the reverb. Circular saw: http://freesound. Org/people/organicmanpl/sounds/198779/'saw of avalon': http://freesound. Cashell mall is in christchurch, new zealand, it is a retail area in shipping containers, also it is home to the future christchurch showcase, where you can learn all about the future plans, while around you the building continues, hence the ever present noise of construction.

A short recording of construction work on a ten-storey apartment building in the blackhorse road area of walthamstow, london. General construction noises. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is some processing to this recording to ‘normalize’ the levels and light eq-ing. I do not require any credit or attribution. If any of these sounds have been of help, and you are feeling charitable, please do consider donating to freesound to help keep the site running (a link is also on the home page). Any donations are greatly appreciated!.

For my 100th sound on freesound, a long one: me building my bed with wooden strips. Noises of screws, metal squares, screwdriver, moving the wood and assembling it. And sometimes my breath. Recorded in stereo with h5n, in my room in the attic by a sunny autumn day. Little cut in edit. For the anecdote, it was so hot that i finished in my underwear.

A room tone attic in ostend, belgium. Construction and scaffold building across the street. Occasional car passing. The windows were closed but it’s only single layered glass. At 3:06 you can hear my feet moving (sorry about that). Recorded with tascam dr 701d en rode ntg 3 (shotgun type mic). The shotgun was positioned on top of the tascam in between the two internal mics. No processing whatsoever. Enjoy, use this in any way you seem fit, no credit needed.

I rubbed a couple of lego models together to make this sound. It sounds like a character is building a model, and the bricks click together like in a game.

Recorded this in the attic of a old building with a wood construction during a storm. Lots of wood crackling and wind whistles without any direct wind in the microphones. Zoom h1 and mastered with supreme analog gear.
